Summary:
This novel 'Angar' begins with a mysterious death. It is a true story of a storm in the life of a person and organizational hypocracy.
અશ્વિની પાસે મનુષ્યનાં મનનો તાગ લેવાની શક્તિ છે પણ એ કશું કેવળ તર્કના ચીપિયા વડે પકડતો નથી. એક વિષયની આસપાસ જે કંઈ ઘટના-દુર્ઘટના બનતી હોય તેને રેલાવવાની, ફેલાવવાની અને બહેલાવવાની એને કોઠા-સૂઝ છે. એ વાચક ના ‘પલ્સ’ અને ‘ઈમ્પલ્સ’ બંનેને જાણે છે. નવલકથામાં વિનસનું તત્વ કેટલું મહત્વનું હોય એ સમજે છે ખરો પણ એ વિનસમાંથી ‘ઇન્ટ્રાવિનસ’ સુધી પહોંચી શકે છે. અશ્વિનીની સિદ્ધિ વાચકોને પકડવામાં અને જક્ડવામાં છે. ઘટના નીરૂપણની બાબતમાં એ સવ્યસાયી જેવો છે. ધારે ત્યારે તે વાચકોને કથાને દોરડે પણ બાંધી શકે છે અને રેશમને ધાગે પણ સાંધી શકે છે.
એક રહસ્યમય મૃત્યુથી શરૂ થતી અંગાર નવલકથા એક પ્રબુદ્ધ માનવીના જીવનમાં સર્જાતા ઝંઝાવાત અને એક સંસ્થાની ભીતરમાં રચાતા પાખંડની સત્ય ઘટના સમી ગાથા છે.
