Abstract: Nature has been the profound source of many important therapeutic compounds. Since ages plants are being used for the cure of immense diseases. Moreover the natural products provide many advantages over the synthetic drugs such as easy availability, cheap, causing less side effects. Due to increase in multidrug resistant microorganisms it has become inevitable to search for drugs of plant origin. This project focused mainly on the investigation of antimicrobial activity from various natural sources.
