“ગુર્જરપતિ મુલરાજદેવ” એ બે ભાગમાં લખાયેલી અને ચૌલુક્યયુગ આધારિત ઐતિહાસિક નવલકથા છે. આ નવલકથામાં મૂળરાજે પુર્વજીવનમાં રાજ્યને દૃઢમૂળ બનાવવા કેટલાક ક્રૂર પગલાઓ ભર્યા અને ઉત્તરજીવનમાં સંન્યાસ લઈને અંતે પોતાનો દેહ અગ્નિને અર્પણ કરીને પૂર્વનાં પાપોનું પ્રાયશ્ચિત કર્યું એના વિશેનું વર્ણન કરેલું છે.
